"To make the transition towards clean energy a reality - we are leaving space for the older generation of coal miners and steel workers to learn and become leaders in renewable industries." - @JCcoccoli #ClimateChange #CleanEnergy @SDGMediaZone pic.twitter.com/vmx8DKjlzI— The TerraMar Project (@TerraMarProject) October 4, 2018
JC Coccoli is Earth's fiercest comedy darling. Equal parts explosive and mindful, her comedy is engaging, cry your eyes out funny, and comes from the heart. Ms. Coccoli is of Polish, Czech and Italian decent born in the industrious city of Pittsburgh, PA.

In 2013, JC landed a leading role on the hit MTV sketch show "Hey Girl" (directed by Wet Hot American Summer creator, Michael Showalter) and VH1's reboot of Best Week Ever. From there, she hustled to cement her stake in the early 2000's standup scene performing regular gigs at the Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv (her home club), Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, and The Laugh Factory.
Equal rights for women and girls
Her TV appearances include Comedy Central's Key and Peele, WHY? with Hannibal Buress, E's Chelsea Lately, and the semi-finals of NBC's Last Comic Standing season 8 with (you guessed it) Roseanne Barr as of the judges calling her “A star.” In 2015, she was then hired as a supervising producer to 'stylist to the stars', Rachel Zoe for her background in high fashion commentary and vintage consignment. Rachel's live talk show, "Fashionably Late" appeared on Lifetime with guests Reese Witherspoon, Eva Longoria, Nicole Richie and more. This was an outstanding feat for JC as fashion and comedy are finally getting the nods they deserve in this revolution of women’s equality. Soon after, she was brought on as a Producer for the FOX and HULU smash hit, PAGE SIX TV which followed culture, celebrities and their glamorous life styles.
Since 2011, JC has been a dedicated advocate for Women's Rights working alongside Gloria Steinem and @EqualityNow (an advocacy program that strives for equal rights for women and girls). JC has produced the red carpet events for three high-profile galas in NYC and LA. Teaming up with HULU for HandMaids Tale Season two, JC has represented the advocacy program by producing shareable timely content to inspire the uprising against inequality throughout the US and the globe.
In association with www.purpose.com and www.project-everyone.org/ JC completed a cross country road trip in an electric for a docu-series on climate change. conquering 3,000 miles in 13 days she visited the ‘unsung heroes’ of climate change that are creating environmental solutions to save the planet. from lowering carbon emissions, to installing solar Plants, the series unveils the bustling and innovative job market in the business of renewable energy and highlights those individuals throughout the U.S. that are working in continued accordance with the paris climate agreement.
After her 34 yr old sister passed away in 2016 from an accidental heroin overdose, JC's life has been turned upside down. Taking time to spend with her family and regaining strength after such a heartbreaking loss became the most important task on her agenda and now, two and a half years later, she applies herself to better understand the opioid addiction crisis in the states; spending time talking to recovering and active users to better empathize with the decisions that lead them to self-medicate. Humans are worth understanding.
As for LIVE events, JC has produced outstanding festival performances at San Francisco Sketch fest, Women in Comedy festival in Boston, Art Basel in Miami, The NY Comedy festival, SXSW, Bonnaroo, Comic Con, Coachella, Copenhagen, and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Her debut comedy album, entitled "Blue Collar Bitch,” produced by ASpecialThing records and will be released in 2019. She has completed her work at Maker Studios/Disney Digital as a writer and performer and currently is preparing for her own STAND UP SPECIAL.
